This guide explains how to obtain the Hiring Outcome Report (HOR) after your job posting has ended on JobSarawak. The HOR may be required for your Expatriate application process.
When you can request the HOR
You can request the Hiring Outcome Report after the job posting has closed on JobSarawak.
If your posting has already ended, follow the steps below to access the report or request assistance from the relevant support team.
Validity of the Hiring Outcome Report
A Hiring Outcome Report (HOR) is valid for six months from the date of approval. Employers may use the report during this period to support their application for non-Sarawakian worker quota.
A Hiring Outcome Report may only be used if both of the following conditions are met:
- The Hiring Outcome Report is still within its six-month validity period.
- The approved worker quota has not been fully utilised.
The Hiring Outcome Report becomes invalid in either of the following situations:
- Quota fully utilised: Once the approved quota has been completely used, the Hiring Outcome Report can no longer be used, even if it is still within the six-month validity period.
- Hiring Outcome Report expired: Once the six-month validity period has ended, the Hiring Outcome Report can no longer be used, even if there is remaining unused quota.
In either case, the employer must submit a new job advertisement through JobSarawak, complete the required advertisement and interview process, and obtain a new Hiring Outcome Report before proceeding with a new application.
